Here are some of the best practices that we expect each of the campus ambassadors to follow while running a Campus Hub:
We, at Shortfundly, believe that working in teams is fun. In the past, we have seen that a team of about 2-3 members has always been of great assistance to the campus ambassador to run the activities.
The campus ambassador and the faculty lead should spread the word on campus asking students to join the core hub team and the student and the faculty representative should filter out the students in a way which is suitable to them. Once the team is formed, you are free to assign various responsibilities to various students, pick a marketing head, a technical head, head of social media etc.
Now once the Core Team is formed and had its first Kickstarter event/session, you will be expected to fulfill your responsibilities of organizing activities every month. These can be film festival contests hosted on Shortfundly, short film filmmaking workshops or even Guest lectures which will promote a healthy short film filmmaking culture among the students.
The success of an event is judged by the number of people who participated and enjoyed taking part in it. Now, before the event, the core committee members have to make sure that the event is properly promoted and publicized within the college and on Social Media and after which the event photos and a report are put in our reporting system.
