Best Background Music Companies/Institutional Awards ? Best film/Animation production institution (Academic) [Award will be given on state/City basics Ex. Best in Kolkata, Maharashtra or UP etc] ? Best film production house:- ? Short/Documentary production house ? Ads/Animation production house [Award will be given on state/City basics Ex. Best in Kolkata, Maharashtra or UP etc] Award Criteria Submission for Best Film Production Institution Award (Academic) • Institution Show reel • Submit DVD of any two student projects • List of in-house resources. • List of award winning productions • List of alumni working with reputed film banners • List of institution filmmaking faculty along with specialization & experience. Submission for Best Film Production House Award • Company Show reel • Submit DVD of any two movies produced by company • List of all movies produced by the company and mention if movies won any awards. • List of professionals associated with the company (Like Directors, Cinematographers, Editors, Producers etc) • Attach the CV’s of core team members Certificate of participation + Miniboxoffic Movies Ratings will be given to all entries. The winners will be honored with certificate and trophy + short film distribution deal. 3. Entry FEE: No submission will be considered until the non-refundable entry fee has been paid. International participants can pay the fee via PayPal (PayPal Id: [email protected]) 4. Film must be subtitled in English if language is other than English and Hindi. 5. Year of production & accepted movie duration: Year of production: Jan-2013 onwards Short Film, animation and documentaries: up-to 60min Music Video: up-to 07 min 6. Films participated in MSIFF-12, 13, 14 & 15 are not eligible for participation in 2016. 7. The decision of the Jury will be final and can’t be challenged. 8. MSIFF-16 stages/process: • Entry submission as per rules & regulations. • Notification of shortlisted regular entries by the festival office on 03 Dec 2016 & shortlisted late entries notification on 6 Dec 2016. • Delegate registration to attend MSIFF-16 at Mumbai. All filmmakers must have registered as delegate to attend the festival. Hospitality charges are applicable for filmmakers & attendees, which include lunch, tea/coffee with cookies & master classes. • Festival movies screening & workshops followed by award ceremony in Mumbai on 21 Dec 2016. 9. Mumbai Shorts International Film Festival-16 does not take any type financial commitment for the expense incurred on the correspondence by the participant. All Travel, Lodging & Boarding and other miscellaneous expenses will have to be borne by the participant himself for attending the festival. No request for the same will be entertained. 10. Once the film submitted can’t be withdrawn in any circumstances, however festival director reserve the rights to disqualify any film on certain grounds. 11. By submitting movie to Mumbai Shorts International Film Festival, filmmaker/producer takes the whole responsibility of copyright issues of music, script and other creative and technical aspects of film. 12. Filmmakers are requested to submit the following through email at [email protected]. • Synopsis of the movie. • Crew & Cast List. • Biography & Filmography of Film director. • Photograph of Director. • Still and Posters of film in JPEG format. 13. Submission- • Two sets of DVD along with entry form, fee and others details mentioned in application form.
