Don Bosco Youth Film Festival of India (DBYFFI) is an annual Short Film Festival organized simultaneously in over 100 cities in India as a tribute to Don Bosco, the patron and friend of youth. This Festival, which is non-commercial and competitive, will showcase movies that celebrates the spirit of youth and issues concerning nation building and create platforms for filmmakers to reach the widest possible audience for their work.

Awards & Prizes

There will be three awards: 1. Best Film Award 2. Best Young Director (Below 30 years) Award 3. Best depiction of Don Bosco Charism Award Each festival venue will have its own jury who will award points to each of the films. The points then are added up to decide the winner in each category. The winners will be awarded at the festival held at New Delhi in January 2017. Awards worth Rs.1.50,000, will be given to the winners.

Rules & Terms

DBYFFI accepts only films that celebrate the spirit of youth in a positive and inspiring manner. Films that depict nation building and tell stories of young people who face the challenges and struggles of life with courage, determination and faith and emerge as inspiring individuals are eligible for DBYFFI.
