1st Manchester Ichalkaranji Short Film Festival will be held in Ichalkaranji. It is organized by Soft Corner Youth Club & 2nd Innings Media. The aim of the festival is to showcase short Films and documentaries from across the Nation and promote storytellers.

? 1ST MIFF is a short film festival competition open to all organizations/ agency/ independent/ producer/ director. ? All entries must reach the MIFF office before due date. ? The entry must be submitted on the official entry form together with 2 DVD of the film along with the entry fee mentioned. ? All films selected for the festival will be informed only on our facebook page “MANCHESTER ICHALKARANJI SHORT FILM FESTIVAL-2019” ? No enquiry or arguments will be entertained regarding non selected film. The selection of the committee will be final. ? Films must be submitted in DVD in MOV or Mp4 Format. ? Festival Management is not responsible if film is not screened due to DVD problem. ? Each entry will be accompanied by non refundable amount of Rs. 500/- ? Preview DVD should be labelled with the title, genre, running time and contact no. along with email id. ? Separate charges for postage and courier for trophies, mementos, certificate for selected films not for attending the film festival. ? MIFF has right to use the entries films and DVD material from the DVD for festival promotion. ? Short film should have running time from 1 to 30 minutes along with front and back credits. ? The festival authority will have the right the retain the DVD copies of each film and the material sent. ? The Organization is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, postage due, stolen entries. ? Short film that are submitted must be entrants original work and shall not infringe on any copyrights, entrants agree that they have obtained all necessary copyrights permission regarding music, sound and images etc. MIFF organization will not be held liable for any copyright violation by you or your film. ? MIFF reserve all rights not to screen any film for any reason it deems valid. ? MIFF organization reserve rights to change, cancel or reschedule the dates, venue, awards and categories without any consent or information to contestants. ? The pre selection committee will short list the entries for judging by panel of jury during festival. ? The code of conduct will have to be strictly followed by the entrants misbehavior may lead to disqualification and legel action. ? The decision of the MIFF management will be entered into. ? Films once entered in film festival will not be allowed to be withdrawn. Participation in the 1st MIFF implies acceptance of all of these rules. ? Selected films will not be screened if the film maker or their authorized representative as not present to showcase his film and promote it at the festival. ? The decision of the jury will be final and accepted by all. ? All the participants and awardees are requested to maintain the festival geritage, code of conduct and good will. ?
