Refunds, Cancellations & Returns Policy

How We Handle Refunds

Scope

This policy applies to purchases made on www.shortfundly.com operated by SM Smartygen Media Networks Pvt Ltd. As an OTT marketplace, most products are digital (film rentals/purchases, subscriptions, tickets, access passes). Different rules apply to digital items, event tickets, and physical merchandise (if offered).

General Principles

  • Transparency: Each product page may contain item-specific terms (e.g., region locks, rental windows, start dates). Those terms form part of your purchase.
  • Abuse Prevention: We may decline or reverse refunds if misuse, excessive chargebacks, or policy abuse is suspected. See our Terms of Use for more details.

Digital Content (Rentals, Purchases, Subscriptions)

  • Non-Returnable: Digital content is generally non-refundable once access has been delivered to your account or any portion of the content has been streamed/downloaded.
  • Eligible Refunds (Examples):
    • Duplicate purchase or duplicate billing for the same item.
    • Technical issues on our side preventing access after payment (and you cooperated with troubleshooting).
    • Unauthorized transaction (subject to account verification and investigation).
    • Pre-orders canceled by us prior to release.
  • Geo-Restrictions: If access is blocked solely due to territorial licensing and the product page did not clearly disclose the restriction at checkout, contact us for review.
  • Subscription Renewals: You can cancel auto-renew at any time in your account settings. Charges already processed for the current billing period are typically non-refundable, but we may provide a prorated or goodwill credit at our discretion if you faced a persistent service issue.

Event Tickets & Passes

  • All Sales Final: Tickets are generally non-refundable once issued.
  • If an Event is Canceled: A full refund or credit will be provided as per the organizer’s terms.
  • If an Event is Rescheduled or Format Changes (e.g., in-person → virtual): Your ticket will remain valid for the new schedule/format. If you cannot attend, contact us before the new date for available options.
  • No-Shows: Not eligible for refunds.

How to Request a Refund or Report an Issue

  1. Email support@shortfundly.com from your registered email.
  2. Include your order ID, purchase date, and a brief description.
  3. Add screenshots or error messages if the issue is technical.

We typically acknowledge within 24 hours. If approved, refunds are usually initiated within 5–10 business days. Bank/card processing times may vary.

Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge without first contacting us, the process may be slower. We recommend writing to support@shortfundly.com so we can investigate and resolve promptly.
